If you know me, you know that I am very proud to have been born a Tennessean and am fortunate to have grown up in the beautiful Smoky Mountains region of Northeast Tennessee.
I am also proud to be a Michigan State University Spartan!
I attended Furman University, ETSU, and the University of Tennessee (Go VOLS), earning my B.S. and M.S. degrees before attending and working at Michigan State University.
At MSU, I earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration while working as a residence hall director. After completing my degree, I was hired by MSU, where I have served as an administrator and faculty member.
I continue to serve MSU as Professor and Secretary of the Board of Trustees and Executive Assistant to the President, Emerita, and am President of Leadership Solutions Group.

Public Policy Pioneers are women who have impacted public policy and taken precedent-breaking action on behalf of women and higher education, and who have championed access, collaborative leadership and the equitable treatment of women. Dr. Davis was honored for having affected public policy through her sustained efforts and for having led the way, through her example and service, for others to follow.

Professional Experience
At Michigan State University, served as the Secretary of the Board of Trustees and Associate Vice-President for Governmental Relations, in addition to Executive Management and other Administrative positions
Community Involvement
Served as President, Chairperson, and other Executive and Board level positions in a variety of organizations at the local, state, and national level including the National Board for the Girl Scouts of the USA.
Academic Related
Primary teaching, consulting, and research interests are in Post Secondary Education, Healthcare, and other Not-for-Profit organizations.
